Resumen
Artículo The nanoparticles obtained with zinc nitrate showed a greater capacity to retain mangiferin (87.33%), unlike those obtained with zinc acetate (79.90%). All the materials showed a hexagonal structure of wurtzite. The zinc nitrate with mangiferin resulted in a greater inhibition area on Listeria monocytogenes (60.83 ± 3.08%), Staphylococcus aureus (51.17 ± 3.75%), and Escherichia coli (57.92 ± 2.19%). The results revealed that the synthesis process and the organic salts showed interesting antibacterial properties associated with the oxide precursor and the charge, shape, and size of the nanoparticles, which can be used in subsequent studies for certain applications or other types of microorganisms.
