El presente artículo pasa revista a dos métodos utilizados para entender el pensamiento colectivo con la intención de puntualizar y resaltar las convergencias entre los mismos para tender un puente entre dos tradiciones de investigación: representaciones sociales y significados psicológicos. Centrado en el modelo estructural de la teoría de las representaciones sociales, en este documento se argumenta cómo se pueden utilizar las redes semánticas naturales modificadas para realizar estudios de representaciones sociales. Por último, se reflexiona sobre los beneficios y obstáculos de combinar estas dos posturas y se incluye un ejemplo que demuestra la integración de los elementos.
Abstract
This article reviews two methods used to understand collective thinking with the intention of highlight the convergences between them to build a bridge between two research traditions: social representations and psychological meanings. Focused on the structural model of the theory of social representations, this document argues how natural semantic networks can be used to carry out studies of social representations. Finally, we reflect on the benefits and obstacles of combining these two positions and include an example that demonstrates the integration of the elements
