DETERMINACIÓN DE NANODUREZA Y MODULO DE ELASTICIDAD DE UN ACERO API 5L X65 SOLDADO EN AMBIENTE SUBMARINOS

Resumen
Las propiedades mecánicas de un acero API 5L-X65, soldado por medio del proceso de soldadura manual por arco (MMAW, por sus siglas en inglés Manual Metal Arc Welding) a 10 y 15 metros de profundidad bajo el mar, ha sido investigado mediante la técnica de indentación instrumentada para determinar la dureza y el modulo de elasticidad, en base a lo estipulado por el método de Oliver-Pharr. Los perfiles de dureza y el modulo de elasticidad se realizaron a lo largo de las tres zonas de la soldadura; metal base (MB), zona afectada por el calor (ZAC) y metal de soldadura (MS), a 1500 y 3500nm de profundidad de indentación. Obteniéndose un análisis comparativo, evaluando el efecto que presenta la profundidad de soldadura sobre estas dos propiedades del material de estudio.
