Casa de cultura e iniciación artística en Cuitzeo

Abstract

The thesis is developed based on the project called House of Culture and Artistic Initiation in Cuitzeo, which starts from the need for a space that renews and preserves the identity of the municipality. The problem arises due to the lack of promotion and support in the cultural sphere, since the initiatives that have taken place to date lack adequate planning. In such a way that the project will seek to attract the interest of society through cultural exhibitions and workshops. These workshops include the artistic disciplines that are most relevant for the expansion of the municipality Cuitzeo’s Culture. The House of Culture and Artistic Initiation in Cuitzeo will be a space with the appropriate dimensions, audiovisual and bioclimatic conditions that evoke a broad sense of inspiration, creativity and appreciation in each embodied work. Likewise, the characteristics of the native materials present in the structure and coatings of the building will achieve a harmonious integration with the context of the site. The project contemplates offering its services to a range of up to 50,000 inhabitants. Where access will be available to everyone, while three age ranges are proposed to be part of the workshops, which range from: 6 to 12 years, 13 to 18 years and 19 to 70 years. On the other hand, the building is made up of two symmetrical bodies, both on two levels. On the first levels we will find the exhibition gallery, workshops, the administrative and maintenance area, as well as an auditorium. While on the upper levels there will be a further set of workshops, classrooms, and a cafeteria.

Esta tesis se desarrolla con base en el proyecto denominado Casa de Cultura e Iniciación Artística en Cuitzeo, el cual parte de la necesidad de un espacio que renueve y conserve la identidad del municipio. La problemática emerge debido a la escasa promoción y apoyo en el ámbito cultural, siendo que las iniciativas que se han dado hasta la actualidad carecen de una planeación adecuada. De tal manera que el proyecto buscará atraer el interés de la sociedad a través de exposiciones culturales y la impartición de talleres. Estos talleres comprenden las disciplinas artísticas que resultan de mayor relevancia para la expansión de la cultura perteneciente al municipio de Cuitzeo. La Casa de Cultura e Iniciación Artística en Cuitzeo será un espacio con las dimensiones, condiciones audiovisuales y bioclimáticas adecuadas que evoquen un amplio sentido de inspiración, creatividad y apreciación en cada obra plasmada. Asimismo, las características de los materiales nativos presentes en la estructura y recubrimientos del edificio lograrán una armónica integración con el contexto del sitio. El proyecto contempla brindar sus servicios a un rango de hasta 50,000 habitantes. Donde el acceso estará disponible para todo el público, mientras que para formar parte los talleres se plantean tres rangos de edades las cuales van de los: 6 a 12 años, 13 a 18 años y 19 a 70 años. Por otro lado, el edifico se conforma por dos cuerpos simétricos, ambos en dos niveles. En los primeros niveles encontraremos la galería de exposiciones, talleres, el área administrativa y y de mantenimiento, así como un auditorio. Mientras que en los niveles superiores se habrán de situar un conjunto más de talleres, aulas, y cafetería.
