"The evaluation of technological performance of multiplough,
vibrocultivator, disc plough and disc harrow, was carried out looking at the
quality of work and energy consumption of this implements when tilling the soil.
The experiment was established in a clay soil, using as statistical design a
random blocks with six treatments and three replications.
Assessing the performance of the configuration tractor — implement, it
was found that the vibrocultivator and the disc harrow had the biggest capacity,
less fuel consumption per worked crea as well as less power requirement, then
this treatments are statistically different to those of disc plough and multiplough.
When looking at the quality and energy for operation of the implements it
was determined that the disc harrow treatment has a significant difference with
that of harrowing after plough, which the multiplough produced the biggest
aggregates and the vibrocultivator the smallest ones.
The energetic index and the unit strength from the treatments of disc
plough and multiplough have significant difference with all the others, the
energetic index and unit strength from the disc plough was higher in a 32 per
cent and 25.5 per cent respectively compared with that figures from the
multiplough. The difference of the unit strength among implements is influenced
by the geometry, cutting intensity and the soil manipulation."
