"En el presente trabajo, se describen algunas herramientas b´asicas del an´alisis de datos categ´oricos y se mencionan ciertas aplicaciones. Lo anterior se justifica por el hecho de que actualmente muchos experimentos en las ciencias sociales, biol´ogicas, econ´omicas, etc., arrojan este tipo de datos por lo que enseguida se concentran algunos fundamentos de la teor´ıa; y adem´as, el an´alisis estad´ıstico de este trabajo ser´a apoyado con el programa R creando un paquete que permita realizar los c´alculos y estimaci´on de los par´ametros del modelo, con mayor facilidad""In this work, it describe some basic tools of the analysis of categorical data and certain applications are mentioned.
