Estas líneas buscan aportar algunas ideas en dirección a pensar un modo gótico en el cine argentino. Se hará referencia a las raíces góticas de la literatura rioplatense para poder trazar un recorrido paralelo por la producción cinematográfica argentina del siglo xx y señalar un corpus disperso de películas que han manifestado un perfil lindante con el expresionismo, el noir y el terror, herederos todos de la tradición gótica inglesa. Se abordarán para el análisis los films La mano en la trampa (Sires & Torre Nilsson, 1961), El dependiente (Torre Nilsson & Favio, 1969) y La ciénaga (Stantic & Martel, 2001).These lines seek to make a contribution in the way of thinking a gothic way in Argentine cinema. The analysis makes reference to the gothic roots of Rio de la Plata literature in order to trace a parallel journey through the Argentine cinematographic production of the 20th century and it also points out a dispersed corpus of films that have manifested a profile bordering on expressionism, noir and terror, all heirs of the English gothic tradition. The films La mano en la trampa (Sires & Torre Nilsson 1961), El dependiente (Torre Nilsson & Favio, 1969) and La ciénaga (Stantic & Martel, 2001) will be addressed for the analysis.Facultad de Artes
