Oxfendazole (OFZ), a benzimidazole (BDZ) anthelmintic, has a broad spectrum of activity against nematodes and tapeworms (Marriner and Bogan, 1981). Knowledge of the pharmacokinetics of the BDZ drugs is of importance because anthelmintic effcacy is a consequence of the concentration achieved and the time during which the concentration is maintained (Marriner and Bogan, 1981).
