The work deals with the subject of the imaginary in the texts of the Agrigentian philosopher. The introduction outlines a profile of the categories in the imaginary, raising the words kosmos, aion, khronos, arkhe, thelos, organon, eidos, hen, pan and ouden, which respectively point out space and time; the cause, the end and the means; form, the one, the whole and nothingness. Then, the body of the text analyzes the structures of the imaginary, attempting an interpretation of the fragments that will penetrate the roots of the being, the appearing and the happening; the roots of image, word and thought; the perception of the human and the intuition of the divine. This allows for a broad vision spanning the cosmic, mythic, poetic, conceptual, anthropic and mystic imaginaries, as several other stages in an itinerary leading to the discovery of a secret key, without which it would be impossible to understand and represent the world.
