En 1999 se inició en la ciudad de Bahía Blanca, Argentina, uno de los denominados Juicios por la Verdad. El trabajo que aquí presentamos analiza las estrategias desplegadas por los militares retirados y en actividad que comparecieron a declarar en este juicio acerca de su accionar durante la última dictadura militar. Con el objetivo de indagar cómo afrontaron la citación, nos aproximamos a las características, los actores intervinientes y los conflictos que se suscitaron en torno a esta novedosa modalidad de justicia. En la realización de este trabajo se utilizaron distintas fuentes de información como entrevistas a jueces y abogados de organizaciones de derechos humanos, presentaciones y fallos judiciales, y la totalidad de los videos de las audiencias del Juicio por la Verdad de Bahía Blanca.In 1999, in the city of Bahía Blanca, Argentina, one of the so-called “truth trials” began. This work analyses the strategies deployed by the retired and active military who testified in this trial about their actions during the repression in the last military dictatorship, aiming to investigate how they faced the citation. To do this, we focus on the characteristics, actors and conflicts that were raised around this new modality of justice. In this work we used different sources of information such as interviews with judges and lawyers of human rights organizations, as well as presentations and court sentences and all the videos showing the hearings of the “Truth Trial” in Bahía Blanca.Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educación
