| dc.description | El objetivo del presente trabajo fue identificar el área geográfica para el desarrollo del cardo (<i>Cynara cardunculus var cardunculus</i>) en Argentina, como materia prima para producir biocombustibles, dando especial énfasis a los sectores marginales. Para buscar una probable zonificación en Argentina, se tuvieron en cuenta los límites térmicos e hídricos de su lugar de origen. Luego se calcularon los índices agroclimáticos a partir de los datos climáticos extraídos de las Estadísticas climáticas editadas por el Servicio Meteorológico Nacional, para el período 1961-1990. Se elaboraron los mapas correspondientes a cada uno de los índices agroclimáticos y el mapa resultante de la superposición fue el que definió al agroclima de la especie en Argentina. Dicho mapa muestra la superficie con condiciones óptimas desde el punto de vista hídrico para el desarrollo del cardo, limitada por la isoyeta de 400 mm y el límite hídrico de 200 mm que permite realizar el cultivo aún en condiciones de secano, no existiendo limitantes desde el punto de vista térmico. | |
| dc.description | The objective of the present paper was to identify the geographical area for thistle development (<i>Cynara cardunculus</i>) in Argentina, as raw to produce biofuel, giving special emphasis to marginal sectors. To delineate agroclime in Argentina, thermal limits and hydric limits of their original place were considered. Then, with extracted climatic data from Statistics published by the National Meteorological Service, for the period 1961-1990, agroclimatic index was calculated. Maps corresponding to each one of the agroclimatic index were calculated and the resulting map of the overlapping defined the agroclime of the specie in Argentina. This map shows the surface with good conditions for thistle development from the hydric point of view, limited by the isohyet of 400 mm and the hydric limit of 200 mm that still allows to carry out the cultivation under unirrigated land conditions, without restrictions since thermal point of view. | |
