dc.descriptionThe case of the division of the province of La Vega in 1885 to create from it the Province of Espaillat, brought as a consequence disgusts between the communes, municipal districts, sections and cantonal posts of the newly created province, since they assumed some more extensive limits than those laid down in the law that created them and raised demands to them, decreasing the provincia de La Vega, in the same extent that others were continued to be created, which continue to grow at the expense of the Province and municipality of la Vega.en-US
dc.descriptionEl caso de la división de la provincia de La Vega en 1885 para crear de ella la provincia Espaillat, trajo como consecuencia disgustos entre las comunes, distritos municipales, secciones y puestos cantonales de la recién creada provincia, pues asumían unos límites más extensos que los fijados en la ley que los creaba y plantearon exigencias para lograrlos, disminuyendo la provincia de La Vega, en la misma medida en que se continuaba creando otras, que siguen creciendo a expensas de la provincia y municipio originales.es-ES
