The aim of this research was to examine the relationship and predictive capacity of the five factors of personality or Big Five on sources of stress. The sample was made up of 753 students from Spain (50,1% girls). The age range was 8 to 11 years old (M = 9,60; SD = 1,11). The instruments administered were the Big Five Personality  Questionnaire (BFQ-NA) and the School Situation Survey (SSS). The results confirm the relationship and predictive capacity of the factors of personality on sources of stress in Spanish students.El objetivo de esta investigación fue examinar la relación y capacidad predictiva de los cinco factores de personalidad o "Big Five" sobre fuentes de estrés. La muestra estuvo conformada por 753 alumnos españoles (50,1% chicas). El rango de edad era de 8 a 11 años de edad (M= 9,60; DE = 1,11). Los instrumentos administrados fueron el cuestionario de personalidad Big Five (BFQ-NA) y la Entrevista de Situaciones Escolares (SSS). Los resultados confirman la relación y capacidad predictiva de los factores de personalidad sobre fuentes de estrés de los estudiantes españoles.
