The objective of this work is to identify the principal types of gender violence and the classification that has been theoretically established according to the aggression in question through documentary and statistical research that allows an overview of this emerging phenomenon in Mexico that arises as a result of the advances in Information and Communication Technologies, describing aspects of the impact that these actions have on the affected population, who the main victims and aggressors are by gender, the frequency with which they arise and what preventative actions can be implemented.El objetivo del presente trabajo es identificar los principales tipos de violencia de género y la clasificación que se ha establecido teóricamente conforme la agresión de que se trate, mediante una investigación documental y estadística que permita tener un panorama en México de este fenómeno emergente que surge a raíz de los avances en las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC), describiendo aspectos sobre el impacto que éstas acciones tienen en la población afectada, quiénes son los principales víctimas y agresores por género, la frecuencia con que surgen y cuáles son las acciones de prevención que pueden implementarse.
