The following article presents an overview of the latest Dominican literature. For this purpose, it has been necessary to establish a link with the trajectory of the literature and cultural production of the second half of the 20th century and the cultural institutions that promote it. An attempt has also been made to expose the production of the diaspora in the United States, Puerto Rico and Spain.El siguiente artículo presenta un panorama de la literatura dominicana más reciente. Para llegar a ella, ha sido necesario vincularla con la trayectoria de la literatura y la producción cultural de la segunda mitad del siglo XX y las instituciones culturales que la promueven. Se ha intentado exponer, además, la producción de la diáspora en Estados Unidos, Puerto Rico y España.
