This article places Cualquier miércoles soy tuya within the tradition of the artist's novel and studies the transformations it introduces in relation to the Romantic, Modernist and Avantgarde models. In Mayra Santos Febres' text, the revision of the traditional form of the artist's novel takes place through the structural innovations but, moreover, is imbedded in the philosophical theme that characterizes this type of narrative, that is, the elucidation of the writer's role and his art in the society he belongs to.En este artículo Cualquier miércoles soy tuya se instala dentro de la tradición de la novela de artista. En él se estudia las transformaciones que esta novela presenta respecto a los modelos románticos, modernistas y vanguardistas. En este texto de Mayra Santos Febres, la revisión del modelo tradicional de novela de artista se lleva a cabo tanto a través de innovaciones en la estructura de la novela en sí como en el planteamiento filosófico inherente a este tipo de texto, que es dilucidar cuál es el papel del escritor y de su arte en la sociedad en la que vive.
