The book presents articles written by Sebastián Salazar Bondy in Peruvian newspapers and magazines such as La Prensa, El Comercio, Libertad and Oiga, between 1954 and 1965 and where he addresses various topics of interest about the Peruvian reality: childhood, poverty, education , violence, politics, democracy, etc. The articles are structured in four parts. Reúne artículos escritos por Sebastián Salazar Bondy en los diarios y revistas peruanos como La Prensa, El Comercio, Libertad y Oiga, entre los años de 1954 a 1965 y donde aborda diversos temas de interés sobre la realidad peruana: niñez, pobreza, educación, violencia, política, democracia, etc. Los artículos han sido estructurados en cuatro partes.
