The 1968 student movement nationwide still awaits its researchers and researchers. Many pieces of this puzzle are missing to affirm, fifty years after its development, that everything has already been said about it. In this text, we approach the piece that corresponds to the Autonomous University of Querétaro, seen from a wide wiew, focusing the lens on three different episodes: 1) the student strike with which the autonomy of the university is ob­tained in 1958, 2) the conflict unleashed by the ownership of the Baroque Courtyard du­ring the management of Hugo Gutiérrez Vega in 1966, and 3) the impact of the 1968 stu­dent movement. In the conclusions we outline what came next, which will help us to have a more complete vision of the impact of 68 in this university.El movimiento estudiantil de 1968 a nivel nacional todavía espera a sus investigadoras e investigadores. Faltan muchas piezas de ese rompecabezas para afirmar, a cincuenta años de su desarrollo, que ya se ha dicho todo al respecto. En este texto, abordamos la pieza que le corresponde a la Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, vista desde una panorámica amplia, enfocando la lente en tres episodios distintos: 1) la huelga estudiantil con la que se obtiene la autonomía de la universidad en 1958, 2) el conflicto desatado por la titularidad del Patio Barroco durante la gestión de Hugo Gutiérrez Vega en 1966, y 3) el impacto del movimiento estudiantil de 1968. En las conclusiones esbozamos lo que vino después, lo que nos ayudará a tener una visión más completa del impacto del 68 en esta universidad.
