dc.descriptionAbstract In our societies the historians are not the only ones who propose representations of the past. The insurrections of memory and the seductions of fiction are strong competitions. Today historians know that the knowledge they produce is only one of the modalities of the relations between societies and the past. Fictional works, or at least some of them, and memory, either collective or individual, assure also the presence of the past, and a presence sometimes or often more powerful than the one given by the historians” books. The multiple relations between history, memory and literature are the objects of this essay.en-US
dc.descriptionResumen Los historiadores no son en nuestras sociedades los únicos que proponen representaciones del pasado. Las insurrecciones de la memoria, así como las seducciones de la ficción son firmes competidoras. Hoy en día los historiadores saben que el conocimiento que produ­cen no es más que una de las modalidades de la relación que las sociedades mantienen con el pasado. Las obras de ficción, al menos algunas de ellas, y la memoria, sea colectiva o individual, también dan una presencia al pasado, a veces o a menudo más poderosa que la que establecen los libros de historia. Son las múltiples relaciones entre historia, memoria y literatura las que analizan este ensayo.es-ES
