The   present   document   analyzes   the   legal procedural figure known as Abbreviated   Procedure,   considering   that since it does not have a precedent in the Mexican Criminal Legal System, information on this procedure highlights its following characteristics:   reduction   of   the   penalty,   acceptance of the accusation, waiver of trial, and the most outstanding feature,  negotiation between the accusing party and the accused.Resumen: En el presente artículo se analiza la figura jurídica procesal denominada como Procedimiento Abreviado, porque no cuenta en el Sistema Jurídico Penal en México con antecedente.  Este procedimiento tiene las características siguientes: reducción de la penal, aceptación de la acusación, renunciar a un juicio y lo más sobresaliente, la negociación, entre la parte acusadora y el acusado.
