referencial, metodología proyectual institucional IPN ESIA Tecamachalco y
ABSTRACT: The Cardiology Hospital “Francisco Martínez”, located on Metepec, State of
México, has as its purpose the urban architectural executive design of this project
for 2019. It comes with the Urban Development Program for Metepec, State of
México, proposed by Arch Engi, which took as an essential goal to establish the
relevant projects catalogue for the armonic development of this place, connecting
the urban scene with the faultless architecture, and from where this project
rises. The methodological approach was shaped by the next phases: Methodology
for the Urban Development Plan with focus to the Social Development Secretary
(SEDESOL), definition of the referential framework, Project Institutional
Methodology IPN ESIA Tecamachalco, and the development of the executive
project; contemplating documentary and field research , with different observation
and data analysis tools and techniques, applying instruments of: compilation,
observation guides and open polls. The architectural project of the Cardiology
Hospital “Francisco Martínez” is compound by 7 primary zones: hospitalization,
external consult, diagnosis auxiliaries, treatment auxiliaries, support services,
general services and government and training; which are introduced in an
architectural program of 10,000m2 and was executed on a 15,000m2 ground. The
project has got 60 beds in the hospitalization area, 3 surgery rooms on the
urgency zone and 16 consulting rooms on external consult. The sustainability is
based on the application of technologies on the hydraulic system, like the use of
an hydroneumatic system to feed the building and the catchment of rain water for
its reuse on certain areas and irrigation of the body; on the electric system, with
energy saving methods and the introduction of telecommunications that allow a
technological development, besides the integration of accessibility handbooks
and the urban share to the context. On the same way, a costs analysis is
presented in order to get to know the financial reach of the project. The Cardiology
Hospital “Francisco Martínez” is a remarcable project, designed for social growth
and improvement of the public health, established to satisfy the needs of its users
at any time, with functional architecture, esthetic, sustainable and self-sufficient.
New technologies were implemented in the project that will make possible for the
project to adapt to the environment in a way more efficient way; beside the fact
that it works as an impulse for the urban growth in the zone and a really important
source of employment on an state level.
