ABSTRACT :Deepwater deposits have gained worldwide importance due to the presence of hydrocarbons representing 40% of the world's hydrocarbon production in clastic sedimentary rocks (Aquino, 2015). In Mexico, approximately 90% of total hydrocarbon production comes from carbonate formations, however, there has been interest in clastic rock fields, especially in deep-sea deposits and clay-sand formations due to the decrease in productivity of the main land producing fields. and therefore the study of these fields. The clastic formations are generally constituted by intercalations of sands and shales, being clay the main factor that increases the uncertainty in the petrophysical evaluation, because the clay in the sand affects the physical properties such as; the resistivity, porosity, radioactivity, density and wave velocities P and S, such a problem is related to the spatial distribution of the clay (laminar, structural and dispersed). The method of joint investment of well registers considers the spatial distribution in its unified microstructure model to reduce the degree of uncertainty in the estimation of petrophysical properties. Due to the above in the present thesis, the sensitivity analysis is performed to the modeling of physical properties to understand how the physical properties vary with respect to the spatial distribution of clay in terrifying formations and to know the effect they have on the effective properties of the rock.
