ABSTRACT
Since the beginning of man has always had the need to express their feelings and emotions, in addition to the need to communicate. Thanks to this emerges the language, corporal and verbal, signs and symbols by man interprets and manages to express his ideas. Over the years it has developed until the express becomes a necessity of another kind. This is how the arts arise,
including dance. To create movements for which religious, social and military rituals can be practiced is a task that man develops and becomes an ever more and more complete activity, with movements, more agile and complicated as the development of man and the Civilizations.
Due to the complexity in the dances and dances that was created with the passage of the years. Complications and accidents also arose, resulting in human injuries in some anatomical parts. Reason for which appeared ideas, mechanisms, devices of support for the recovery of the member and / or affected part.
The incidence of these injuries, especially in ballet, creates a new challenge to overcome.
At present there are multiple devices for the rehabilitation, support and substitution of limbs of the human body. Recurrence in limb injuries has further affected the ankle joint. This is a consequence of arduous arduousness, poorly executed technique, nutritional factors, etc. Hence the need to be able to generate support elements that help the training and protection of the body while practicing this activity.
In the present work a study / analysis of the jump in ballet is made, since it is one of the movements more complicated and has greater impact in the ankle. The analysis is performed with a motion capture system. Thanks to this the parameters of the position with respect to the time were obtained for the next one to make a cinematographic and dynamic analysis of the execution of this movement. Taking into account the above, the orthosis is designed to restrict some of the movements during the jump and thus allows partial protection of the ankle so that it does not fall into the incidences of injuries.
