dc.descriptionThe purpose of this paper is to help clarify the functional significance of activities indispensably performed in scientific research, —in particular in social reality— and often are taken for understood, but which in fact are used with equivocation. This demerits or flat comes to distort the meaning and effectiveness of a study, since one of the fundamental requirements of any solid argument in science or in any other context, is to have a maximum of linguistic and conceptual precision.en-US
dc.descriptionEl propósito de este trabajo es contribuir al esclarecimiento del significado funcional de actividades que indispensablemente se realizan en la investigación científica ―en particular de la realidad social— y que frecuentemente se dan por entendidas, pero que en los hechos son utilizadas con equivocidad. Esto demerita o, de plano, llega a distorsionar el sentido y la eficacia de un estudio, puesto que uno de los requisitos fundamentales de cualquier argumentación sólida, dentro de la ciencia o en cualquier otro contexto, es poseer un máximo de precisión lingüística-conceptual.es-ES
