dc.description.abstractThis article aims to analyze the process of building Individualized Education Program (IEPs) in Pedagogical Center (CP/UFMG), an application school that offers full-time elementary education and reserves places for public students target of special education. The IEP is a document to register the process of inclusion of stu-dents who require curricular adaptations, whether they are special students or not, as well as to outline the specific learning goals, advances and difficulties experienced in the inclusive context. Based on the perspective of inclusive education and contributions of Tannús-Valadão; Mendes (2018); Poker (2013), it is intended to show how the process of discussing these Plans has taken place in the school from 2014 to 2021, highlighting the ways in which they are re-signified in the institution and the clashes that involve the construction of this document. For this, three methodological strategies were used: bibliographic research, documentary research and focus group. The analyzes indicate a constant process in the school of reflections about the IEP, as well as challenges regarding the construction of a model adequate to the demands of the institution. They also show the need to consolidate collective work for the production of this document and its effectiveness in practice
