dc.description.abstractThe thesis is about the cinematographic work of the Hungarian director Béla Tarr, focusing on his last five feature films. I begin with the ideas that in his films repetition creates difference. I am basing on the concepts of the philosophers: Gilles Deleuze, Friedrich Nietzsche, Baruch Spinoza and film theorists. I work through Henri Bergson's notion of intuition as a methodology.
