This monograph has as its theme the study on the contribution of sports and games in the inclusion
of children with special needs in kindergarten. This is a literature research, which has the overall
objective to verify the contribution of the interaction produced in games and activities for the
inclusion of children with Down Syndrome in kindergarten, watching the process of inclusion as
guaranteed access and people stay with special educational needs in mainstream education. This
study is justified due the fact that this subject assumes every year a greater importance in the
process of renewal and the search for equality, including in regular schools, and this target will be
achieved only when all people indiscriminately, have access to information, knowledge and
resources necessary for the formation of their full citizenship. In order to accomplish this aim was
used as a qualitative research methodology, literature and fieldwork research. The instruments used
were observation in the classroom and the development of recreational activities as part of the
action plan, such as "Letters of Bingo", "Bus Stop Game" and "Snail of numbers." These activities
were filmed to allow their analysis. The survey was conducted in a City Unit of Child Education
from Belo Horizonte city and the research subjects were a teacher, a three year old with Down
Syndrome and his colleagues (a group of three to four years old). These results supported the
conclusion that the games rather than games, contribute to the interaction of children with Down
Syndrome because at the time of carrying out such activities, we could see a big difference between
them, and the jokes guaranteed more success in interaction child with Down Syndrome because
they are more pleasant and attractive for these child.
