Complemento nominal e adjunto adnominal: conceituação e dificuldades de aprendizagem

This paper presents an analysis of the difficulty faced by students in the distinction between the nominal adjunct and the nominal complement. For that, the approaches were analyzed in four different grammars and three textbooks. It was expected to find objective forms of differentiation between the two terms, which, however, did not occur. In addition, it was examined, with the objective of verifying the reason why the students do not differentiate the adjunct and the nominal complement, the guidelines for the teaching of Portuguese language suggested by the BNCC (Base Nacional Curricular Curriculum) and the Curriculum of Minas Gerais . Finally, it was concluded that the small differences in the approaches to the adnominal adjunct and the nominal complement, in the grammars and textbooks analyzed, are not sufficient to remedy the difficulties faced by the students, and that is why the differentiation
was suggested as a proposal of these terms based on the transitivity of the name.
