Biblioteca na educação infantil e os desafios da qualidade nesse ambiente de aprendizagem: um estudo de caso na comunidade da Pedreira Prado Lopes - BH/MG

This study aims to analyze the quality of the library, considered as a learning environment, in an educational institution that serves children from zero to five years old, in the community of Pedreira Prado Lopes, in Belo Horizonte/MG. For the analysis, official national documents and normative texts of the Municipal Education System of Belo Horizonte were taken as reference, relating the characteristics of the educational environments researched with the conceptions expressed in the official documents. In addition to official documents, the data analysis was supported by authors who discuss the issue of quality in Early Childhood Education, such as Zabalza (2019) and Moss (1999); and authors who study learning environments in this educational stage, such as Forneiro (1998), Horn (2004) and also addressing the issue of the right to literature in childhood, Perrotti (2016). The methodology was based on qualitative research approaches, especially the case study and collaborative research. For the qualification exam, we will present preliminary data obtained through the questionnaire answered by the team of teachers and school managers, in addition to the observations and records we made about the library. We will also address the theoretical concepts that support the discussions. For the final text of the dissertation, we will analyze the process of collective elaboration of the Action Plan for the restructuring of the EMEI library, which will be recorded in an e-book with the objective of disseminating, to other schools, the process experienced in the participating institution. of research and support new proposals for restructuring EMEIs' libraries. These activities will form part of the second stage of the research, which will be carried out after qualification, according to the proposed schedule.
