The following work has encouraged a deep research at Hemeroteca Digital: Manifestações da Dança as a didactic resource, securing possible use and contributions as dance learning/schooling in Graduação em dança - Licenciatura course, in fine arts at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. This Hemeroteca is composed by printed matter about dance, into 1970 to 1982 years, cataloged on diary
news, aimed and appurtenant by Biblioteca Pública Estadual de Minas Gerais. During this research, the methodology, of qualitative character followed the ensuing procedure: document analyses, done in subject inspection on JDT published material; bibliographic review, from themes related with the stories, memories, didactic, digital educational resource and information technology; activity
elaboration, seminaire and a form applied for this course graduated students. Determined to identify the HDMD applicability for learning/schooling purpose in two subjects of the course’s grade, didactic issues about: dance teaching, dance critics, audience gathering, thoughts and hemeroteca’s use were adressed. The results point the didatical use of hemeroteca as a possibility, as well as a memorialistic archieve development aimed to rebuild dance artists’ path experienced over the named period.
