La colonización y la política de tierras en Chaco fue una tarea de gran relevancia para el Estado Nacional.
Desde la distribución del suelo hasta el fortalecimiento de los ciclos productivos (tanino y algodón) el Estado
tuvo un papel preponderante, se consolidó un espacio social económico que demando de los recursos como
ser la tierra y de la población, pero también requirió del conocimiento agrícola. En este sentido los expertos,
posibilitaron consolidar los proyectos estatales, mediante sus investigaciones y propuestas de acción en el
terreno. El siguiente artículo examina la importancia de estos funcionarios técnicos, realizaremos un
abordaje desde la administración territoriana hasta la etapa provincial, teniendo como objetivo demostrar la
importancia de estos a la hora de evaluar las políticas sociales y económicas que se llevaron adelante desde
1920 en adelante. La investigación se basa en documentación oficial de la Dirección General de Tierras, el
Ministerio de Agricultura, informes realizados por los expertos, a fin de poder comprender y cruzar
diferentes datos para historizar y reconstruir el peso de estos funcionarios para la realidad agrícola. Colonization and land policy in Chaco was a task of great relevance for the National State. From the
distribution of the soil to the strengthening of the productive cycles (tannin and cotton), the State had a
preponderant role, it consolidated an economic social space that demanded resources such as land and
population, but also required agricultural knowledge. In this sense the experts, made it possible to
consolidate the state projects, through their research and proposals for action in the field. The following
article examines the importance of these technical officers, we will carry out an approach from the territorial
administration to the provincial stage, aiming to demonstrate the importance of these in the evaluation of
the social and economic policies that were carried out from 1920 onwards. The research is based on official
documentation from the Directorate General for Land, the Ministry of Agriculture, reports by experts, in
order to understand and cross different data to historicize and reconstruct the weight of these officials for
the agricultural reality
