In the Transformation and People Analytics area, the need arose to abandon the culture of using Excel exclusively for handling Claro company's databases. For this reason, a proposal was designed for a database management system that uses SQL language to manage data related to Claro workers and allies. To implement this system, it was necessary to use the company's existing business tools. Therefore, Microsoft's SQL Server was chosen as the database management system, which is one of the most widely used database management systems in the business world. It offers a wide range of tools for designing, creating, maintaining, and querying databases and is compatible with multiple programming languages and operating systems.
In designing a database management system using SQL Server, it is essential to define the database structure correctly. This involves identifying the entities that will be part of the database and defining the relationships between them.
Once the entities and relationships were defined, the tables that make up the database were created. In SQL Server, each table must have a primary key that allows each record in the table to be identified uniquely. Foreign keys can also be defined to establish relationships between tables.
Furthermore, an application has been developed using Power Apps to facilitate the collection of information about the people required in human management cells. This allows for obtaining the information in the required format, reducing the time it takes to populate these workgroups (Cells) and create cases for role assignment. Additionally, this document describes the functions in which the intern provided support in the operation of the SuccessFactors platform.
