Resumen
The objective of this final master's thesis of extension was to implement a timely monitoring of the behavior towards suicide by children and young people that conform the Calarca Technological Institute located in the municipality of Calarca in Quindio department, that allows to attend in part the health problem and the related educational process elated to the attention in psychological emergency situations, of the students, teachers, and relatives, identifying the mental health risks likewise, it could offer timely and primary help in situations where this phenomenon happens, managing to built attention routes for the entity in case of attention and intervention are required in an certain event. The World Health Organization [WHO] (2021) confirms that about 700,000 people commit suicide around the world, showing that attempted suicide is 20 times higher than that of completed suicide; The objective is to design a proposal for a program to prevent suicidal behavior in adolescents for the Government of Quindío. Under the Adjusted General Methodology. Proposing a quantitative study with an experimental design, collecting necessary information from students through a questionnaire focused on social, family, biological and psychological questions, showing that the original scale shows a consistency of 0.83 (Cronbach's alpha) and in the Spanish validation Cronbach's alpha reached values of 0.88. Concluding that the internal consistency of the scale used is reliable; since its alpha value is equal to 0.83.
