Resumen
Tunja is a city in the department of Boyacá in Colombia. Founded by Gonzalo Suarez Rendón in 1539, Tunja has become an important cultural and historical center of Colombia. Known as 'Tunja heroic city' according to the liberator Simón Bolívar, Tunja is known for its rich history and the birthplace of many of Colombia's most important writers, artists and political leaders. Therefore, it is possible to start from its historical environment, which is one of the most important cities in history. The first idea is to develop a network line that preserves the historical heritage and extends the city to its heart. The project also examines the quality of existing public spaces and aims to strengthen public space as a key to urban development. The area of the plan is different, with different purposes and, in addition to the urban plan for the old core of the city that originated it, the reactivation plan is called upon to protect the environment and the lives of the inhabitants. To achieve that quality of life that they seek so much.
Cities are the most densely populated and developed places, so their impact on the environment is significant. But they are also the places where solutions to global environmental challenges are emerging. In intermediate cities it is air and water pollution. Greenhouse gas emissions and air pollutants seriously affect human health and the climate. To combat these problems, effective policies and strategies must be implemented, such as the promotion of electric vehicles and the creation of sustainable transport infrastructure, such as bicycles and public transport. Another big concern is waste. Cities produce large amounts of waste that is harmful to the environment and human health. It refers to recycling and waste management strategies to reduce the amount of this waste going to landfills and the efficiency of waste management. Maintaining and improving water quality is another important part of environmental protection in cities. Water is necessary for sustaining life and its quality. In addition, it is important to conserve water use, optimize its use and reduce waste. Biodiversity is another important part of environmental protection in cities. Biodiversity is related to the health and well-being of people, and it is important to protect and preserve biodiversity in cities. The creation of parks and urban gardens, the promotion of sustainable agricultural practices are some of the measures that can be implemented to improve biodiversity in cities.
The architectural project proposed for the improvement of the historic center of the city is an initiative to address the cultural and tourist attractions for citizens and tourists. The purpose of the plan is to create a transition between the space and the interior and to suggest the design of public and private spaces. The creation of a museum in the historic center of the city will reactivate the area, attract more tourists and improve the quality of life of citizens. In addition, the preservation of the historical heritage and the development of public spaces are key to the urban development of the city. In summary, the architectural plan proposal for the improvement of the historic center of the city is an important initiative aimed at paying attention to places of culture and attractions for citizens and tourists, respecting the historical heritage and improving public spaces as a key to the urban development in the city. It is an opportunity to revitalize the sector and improve the quality of life of citizens.
