Resumen
In Colombia, due to the excessive use of natural resources, there is a need for the state to reinforce the licensing processes that control activities that negatively impact the environment and for this reason the National Authority for Environmental Licenses (ANLA) was created, which is the entity in charge of all projects, activities or works that require licensing, permission or processing according to current environmental regulations in Colombia and thus contribute to the sustainable development of the country (ANLA, s.f.). Within the ANLA there is the Subdirectorate of Instruments, Permits and Environmental Procedures (SIPTA) within which issues related to Permits and Environmental Procedures are handled, which provide management and control instruments to carry out the evaluation and monitoring of activities that have negative impact on the environment.
The Santo Tomás University, within the degree options, has the internship modality, which was carried out in the group of permits and procedures, carrying out activities such as supporting the review of information related to issues of permits outside of licenses, consolidating information to respond to the procedures granted and support the preparation of documents for the area of extended responsibility of the producer.
Among the aforementioned activities, the completion of 301 NO CITES permits, monitoring and evaluation databases for the group of non-licensed permits, monitoring matrix for the RECOPACK group, and infographics for users of management plans were achieved. return of post-consumer products of expired drugs or medicines.
