Resumen
This paper presents a research report on the influence of pedagogical practice on the academic performance of seventh grade students from the San Alberto Magno Educational Institution, in the department of Cesar. The research was carried out using a Qualitative Approach with a Case Study, two teachers and 18 students participated; Information was collected through semi-structured interviews and case observation. From the information collected in the application of the instruments, it was possible to analyze that pedagogical practice influences the academic performance of students through three factors: effective planning of pedagogical practice, teacher-student interaction, and innovation in practice. pedagogical, in accordance with the above it was possible to conclude that it is necessary to comply with three important elements when executing the pedagogical practice, such as the development of effective teaching through good planning that allows building significant learning in students, the realization of a humanizing pedagogical practice where the teacher models principles and values that generate confidence and motivation towards the students; Finally, it is necessary to constantly implement improvements in pedagogical practice in order to create a culture of didactic innovation.
