Resumen
The present work consists of a hybrid between a sound journalistic product and a model of new information dissemination media (podcast) that was born from the interest in creating valuable content that exposes traditional Colombian gastronomy in a different way to the young people of the country. To do this, we used theoretical research on the podcast, which allowed us to establish that, given its growing importance in the day-to-day life of a young audience, it would be the ideal format to bring our Qué rico país project to life. The purpose of this work is to contribute to the collective memory of the Colombian gastronomic culture, through the application of the knowledge acquired in journalism over the last years. In each episode of the podcast, interviews were conducted with experts on different topics related to current gastronomic trends and the relationship they maintain with traditional gastronomy. As a result, files were obtained that were much more than audio pieces, as they became unique scenarios to vindicate customs and traditions. Each interviewee generated with their participation an important contribution to avoid the disconnection of the new generations with our gastronomic roots. As the research was developed and the topics to be discussed were proposed, we realized that there is still much to explore in the field of gastronomic journalism. So it is expected that this is only the first season of many, and that this project continues to grow, evolve and reach as many listeners as possible.
