Abstract

En este artículo de investigación se analiza, mediante una metodología cualitativa, el cruce entre dos pensamientos lejanos en el tiempo, pero propios de personajes, cuyo ministerio se hizo cargo de los derechos silentes de los sin derechos y desposeídos de América Latina, bajo la bandera de la religión católica y de la liberación del yugo y de las cadenas –reales o ficticias– que los sujetaban. Gustavo Gutiérrez y Bartolomé de las Casas se encuentran dialogando tras siglos de distancia, el primero releyendo al segundo y trayendo a la actualidad un tema muy antiguo y que, a pesar de esto, sigue siendo vigente y urgente: la libertad y liberación del pobre.

This research article analyze with a a qualitative methodology the crossing two distant thoughts in time but belonging to characters whose ministry took charge of the silent rights of the rightsless and dispossessed of Latin America, under the banner of the Catholic religion and the liberation of theyoke and thechains - real orfictitious – that grabbed them. Gustavo Gutiérrez and Bartolomé de las Casas are talking after centuries of distance, the first rereading the second and postponing a very old issue today and that, despite this, iss till in force and urgent: the freedom and liberation of the poor.
