FACTORES DE RIESGO PARA DERMATITIS ATÓPICA EN LACTANTES DEL HOSPITAL VITARTE DURANTE EL PERIODO MAYO A NOVIEMBRE DEL 2015
La Dermatitis Atópica ha demostrado ser una enfermedad dérmica que va en aumento, afectando la calidad de vida del paciente además que la etiología no se ha determinado y el desconocimiento de los aspectos que influyen en la calidad de vida de los lactantes. Hay estudios que determinan la prevalencia de Dermatitis atópica, un estudio Nacional en Puno concluye en una prevalencia es 50.7%, en Dinamarca la incidencia acumulada de dermatitis atópica fue del 11,5% a los 18 meses de edad.7Un estudio en Ecuador determina que la prevalencia de todos los factores se encuentra en un 13.3 %, En el estudio internacional de Asma y alergia en niños en el 2009 se observó que la prevalencia de Dermatitis atópica oscilo 0.9% en la India, 22.5% en Quito-Ecuador dentro de las edades 6-7años, 24.6% en Barranquilla- Colombia de los 13-14 años. En Latinoamérica fue del 10% en niños de 6-7 años y del 8.3% en adolescentes de 13-14 años para este estudio del 2009-2012 Sudamérica emerge como una región de alta prevalencia para Dermatitis atópica en 15 % para las edades de 6-7 años, en España la prevalencia es de 6-15%, pero como se puede observar no hay muchos datos de pacientes lactantes que es la población en la que según la literatura inicia los problemas de atopia principalmente cutáneas.
OBJETIVOS: Determinar los factores de riesgo para Dermatitis atópica en lactantes en el Hospital Vitarte durante el periodo mayo 2015 a noviembre 2015.
METODOLOGÍA: Es un diseño observacional de tipo caso control, analítico, que utiliza una fuente de información retrospectiva.
Para el grupo de casos se trabajó con todos los pacientes que fueron diagnosticados de DA en El Hospital de Vitarte durante mayo a noviembre 2015 siendo un total de 149 casos y para el grupo de controles se trabajó con la cantidad equitativa.
RESULTADOS Y CONCLUSIONES: Los factores que contribuyen en la Dermatitis atópica en la población de Vitarte son los factores genético en el cual se encontró ser factor de riesgo moderado para dermatitis atópica (p = 0,000) OR 3.805 [2.068 – 7.001] y el factor alérgeno el cual se encontró ser factor de alto riesgo con (p = 0,000) OR 9.187 [5.428 – 15.548] y a su vez el de mayor importancia.
