Características Clínicas Y Epidemiológicas De Infección Del Tracto Urinario Por Escherichia Coli Blee En Pacientes Mujeres Del Hospital Militar Central Durante El Periodo Agosto 2017 - Agosto 2019

Resumen
Objetivo: Determinar las características clínicas y epidemiológicas de infección
del tracto urinario por Escherichia Coli BLEE pacientes mujeres del Hospital Militar
Central en el periodo de Agosto 2017 - Agosto 2019.
Materiales y métodos: Se llevó a cabo una investigación observacional,
transversal y retrospectiva, de nivel descriptivo, en 105 pacientes mujeres de
medicina del Hospital Militar central, mediante una ficha de recolección de datos.
Los datos se ingresaron a una base de datos del programa-Excel, y transferidos al
SPSS(25.0) con la finalidad de obtener resultados estadísticos.
Resultados: El 50.5% eran ≥60 años; 33.3% de 30 a 59 años; y 16.2% de 19 a 29
años. Asimismo, el 91.4% tenía como procedencia la ITU intrahospitalaria, un
85.7% si tuvieron un antecedente de infección. El dispositivo invasivo más
utilizado fue la sonda Foley 46.7%, el antibiótico con mayor sensibilidad fue el
meropenem con 32.4%.
Conclusiones: Más de la mitad de las pacientes mujeres con infección del tracto
urinario por Escherichia Coli BLEE eran ≥60 años. Asimismo, la mayoría tenía
como procedencia la ITU intrahospitalaria y un antecedente de infección previo.
