Factores perinatales de la asfixia neonatal, en recién nacidos del servicio de neonatología. Hospital San Juan de Lurigancho, septiembre del 2014 a septiembre del 2015 Lima-Perú

Resumen
Objetivo: Determinar los factores perinatales de la asfixia neonatal en recién nacidos del servicio de neonatología del hospital San Juan de Lurigancho, septiembre del 2014 a septiembre del 2015.
Método: Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, observacional, transversal y retrospectivo en el Hospital San Juan de Lurigancho, cuya población estuvo conformada por 56 neonatos que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión y de sus historias clínicas se extrajeron datos sobre los factores perinatales tanto de origen materno y fetal que antecedieron a la asfixia neonatal.
Resultados: De los factores epidemiológicos el grado de instrucción fue predominantemente secundaria (78.6%), el estado civil: conviviente (76.8%), la ocupación: ama de casa (83.9%) y el sexo del neonato fue mayoritariamente el masculino (60.7%). De los factores perinatales de origen materno se obtuvo que la edad materna de riesgo (<18 y > de 35 años) fue de 33.9%; no tuvieron un adecuado control prenatal el 48.2%. Así mismo la vía de terminación del parto fue principalmente la cesárea con 55.4%, del mismo modo dentro de los factores intraparto fue más relevante: la presencia del sufrimiento fetal agudo con 41%, seguido del líquido amniótico meconial y los trastornos hipertensivos del embarazo ambos con 32%. De los factores de origen fetal destacan que el adecuado peso al nacer fue de 55.4%, así mismo los neonatos, a término, fueron el 73.2%, seguido de los pretérminos con 17.9%, además la presencia de síndrome de aspiración meconial fue de 21.4%.
Conclusiones: Los factores perinatales maternos y fetales descritos, ayudan a anticiparnos ante el riesgo de asfixia neonatal y así detectarlos precozmente.
