Factores maternos asociados a infección de herida operatoria en pacientes cesareadas del Hospital Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz, 2015-2019

Resumen
Objetivos: Determinar los factores maternos asociados a infección de herida operatoria en pacientes cesareadas del Hospital Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz, 2015-2019.
Materiales y métodos: Estudio observacional, retrospectivo, analítico de tipo casos y controles realizado en Hospital Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz desde enero del 2015 a diciembre del 2019. Los casos fueron 88 pacientes con Infección de herida operatoria y los controles fueron 88 pacientes sin Infección de herida operatoria. Los datos se obtuvieron a través de las historias clínicas, con una ficha de recolección de datos, luego se utilizó el software estadístico SPSS 25.0.
Resultados: Se encontró que los factores estudiados, cuatro están asociados a infección de herida operatoria y son la anemia severa (p=0.009), la ruptura prematura de membranas [OR=4,6; (p=0.000)], la cesárea previa [OR=8,8; (p<0.001)] y la cesárea de emergencia [OR=12,7; (p=0.000)]; mientras que la infección del tracto urinario [OR=1,629 (p>0,05)] y la obesidad [OR=1,431 (p>0,05)] no tienen asociación significativa.
Conclusiones: La anemia severa, la ruptura prematura de membranas, la cesárea previa y la cesárea de emergencia son factores asociados a la infección de herida operatoria después de una cesárea.
