Resumen
Objetivo: Determinar los factores de riesgo asociados a la ruptura
prematura de membranas en gestantes de 18 a 35 años atendidas en el
Hospital de Huaycán entre el 2016 al 2020.
Materiales y métodos: Se realizó un estudio observacional, analítico de
casos y controles, retrospectivo; la muestra estuvo conformada por 165
gestantes seleccionadas mediante un muestreo probabilístico aleatorio
simple. Se utilizó como instrumento una ficha de recolección de datos y se
calcularon las frecuencias absolutas y relativas de todas las variables;
además, para determinar el riesgo de calculó el Odds Ratio (OR).
Resultados: La muestra estuvo caracterizada por una edad promedio de
24,8 años y de procedencia urbana. Respecto a los factores
sociodemográficos, no se determinó que incrementaran el riesgo de
desarrollar ruptura prematura de membranas. Sin embargo, el factor
gineco-obstétrico de haber tenido mayor o igual a 3 embarazos aumentó el
riesgo en 2,8 veces; mientras que el factor patológico de antecedente de
ruptura de membranas aumentó el riesgo en 1,4 veces.
Conclusiones: Los principales factores de riesgo para padecer una ruptura
prematura de membranas fueron el número de embarazos y tener
antecedente de ruptura prematura de membranas.
