Factores sociodemográficos y clínicos asociados a fractura de radio distal en pacientes del servicio de traumatologia del hospital Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz durante el periodo 2019-2020

Este estudio se llevó a efecto para establecer la asociación entre los factores
clínicos como sociodemograficos y la fractura de radio distal en pacientes del
servicio de traumatología del Hospital Carlos Lanfranco la Hoz durante el periodo
2019-2020, teniendo en cuenta la presencia de esta patología dentro de la
población como una de las primeras causas para acudir a la emergencia. La
orientación de la investigación es cuantitativa, presentando un tipo de análisis
observacional, transversal, retrospectivo. Con un nivel correlacional. Se empleó a
101 pacientes dentro de la muestra, recogiendo los datos requeridos de las historias
clínicas mediante la ficha de recolección de datos, los cuales fueron plasmados en
Excel y posterior a ello al SPSS versión 25. Se encontró predominancia en el sexo
masculino con 73.3%, entre las edades de 1 a 19 años en 55,4%, el miembro
superior afectado fue el lado izquierdo en 61,4%, la caída como mecanismo de
fractura en 75,2%, el tipo de fractura no expuesta con 89,1%, en relación a la
sintomatología se halló el dolor en 96,0%, impotencia funcional en 67,3% y el
edema en 48,5%. Los factores asociados a la fractura de radio distal fueron el factor
sociodemográfico con sus indicadores de sexo y edad, dentro del factor clínicos los
indicadores de mecanismo de fractura siendo la caída como predominante y en el
tipo de fractura la no expuesta.
