FACTORES MATERNOS, OBSTETRICOS Y NEONATALES QUE SE RELACIONAN AL DESARROLLO DE SEPSIS TEMPRANA EN NEONATOS EN EL HOSPITAL NACIONAL DOS DE MAYO EN EL PERIODO DEL 2018

OBJETIVO: Determinar los factores maternos, obstétricos y neonatales que se relacionan al desarrollo de Sepsis Temprana en neonatos en el Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo en el periodo del 2018.
MATERIALES Y METODOS: Se realizó un estudio Observacional, retrospectivo, de corte transversal, analítico de caso – control con un muestreo no probabilístico de 200 casos y 200 controles.
RESULTADOS: En esta investigación se observaron los factores maternos, obstétricos y neonatales relacionados al desarrollo de Sepsis Temprana en neonatos, donde se obtuvo como resultado que la edad gestacional (p=0,001; OR: 5,76; IC=1,26-26,33), la infección del tracto urinario en el III trimestre (p=0,036; OR: 1,52; IC=1,02-2,26), los controles prenatales (p=0,000; OR: 2,17; IC=1,40-3,34), la ruptura prematura de membranas (p=0,000; OR: 2,29; IC=1,49-3,52), el peso al nacimiento (p=0,004; OR: 6,88; IC=1,53-30,90) y el Apgar al minuto (p=0,005; OR: 3,59; IC=1,41-9,11) fueron variables que mostraron asociación estadística significativa.
CONCLUSION: Los factores que mostraron asociación estadísticamente significativa al desarrollo de Sepsis Temprana fue la edad gestacional, la Infección del tracto urinario en el III trimestre (maternos); los controles prenatales, la ruptura prematura de membranas mayor a 18 horas (obstétricos); el peso al nacer y el Apgar al minuto (neonatales).
