Riesgo de caídas y condición física en los adultos mayores del centro integral de atención al adulto mayor Santa Anita, 2019.

Resumen
El estudio se realizó en el Centro Integral de atención al adulto mayor Santa Anita a una muestra de 80 adultos mayores. Según su metodología es un estudio cuantitativo, transversal, prospectivo, no experimental y correlacional. Se utilizaron dos instrumentos, la escala de Tinetti para evaluar riesgo de caída y el senior fitness test para evaluar la condición física. Se encontró relación entre los componentes de la condición física y riesgo de caída dado que el valor calculado es menor al nivel de significancia, a excepción de la composición corporal. Se obtuvo como conclusión que existe relación entre el riesgo de caída y la condición física, los adultos mayores de 75 a 79 años tienen mejor condición física. Los adultos mayores de sexo femenino tienen riesgo moderado de caída y los adultos mayores de 75 a 79 años tienen bajo riesgo de caída.
