This research is applied, the general explanatory research design and the specific pre-experimental design, was developed under the line of research in information technology management, which was carried out with the objective of determining to what extent the implementation of a system of information improved the service of the patients of the Piscoya dental clinic. The study specifies the current situation of the service of the patients of the mentioned clinic and focuses on the care processes involved in the service of. To implement the information system, the XP methodology was used, MySQL was used to model the database, the PHP programming language and the free Lumino template based on Bootstrap V3 were used. The Pre-Test and Post-Test were used as the data analysis method. Through the application of the Pre-Test, the manual information system that was used in the clinic was applied, it presented various deficiencies in the care service, response time in the processes involved in the care service, reliable information could not be provided to the patients. patients related to their payment history and schedules of upcoming appointments, patient dissatisfaction with the care service and it was possible to observe the lack of ability of the staff to resolve the doubts of the patients regarding the processes involved in the care service. With the implementation of the information system in the clinic, the patient care service was improved, due to that the response time was reduced, the skills of the staff improved in the face of the processes involved in the care service, information could be provided Reliable related to medical appointments, payment history and schedule of upcoming appointments and also increased patient satisfaction
