The objective of this study was to determine the knowledge about first aid in Bagua Grande-Jaén route drivers in the months of April and May 2021, at a descriptive and univariate level, the sample made up of 83 drivers. The questionnaire applied by Napurí and Vivas was used for the collection of information, which was validated by 5 experts and with a reliability level of 0.70 according to the Kuder Richardson coefficient; Using the SPSS v.26 software, the information was processed, being designed in contingency tables. The results found regarding the occupational characteristics indicate a mean age 40 years (SD +/- 7.2), minimum age 25 and maximum 55 years, level of secondary education 42.2%, the number of years working in the company ranges from 3-7 years, the average years of service is 15.11 and with an average of 5 trainings on PA, it was detected that the highest percentage (94%) of drivers lack knowledge of first aid and only 6% present a regular meet. It is concluded: The level of knowledge in the sample was deficient and no percentage shows a good level, these results being a limitation at the time of providing assistance in the event of a traffic event.
