Percepciones de los Docentes y Estudiantes del Empleo de TIC en el Proceso de Enseñanza Aprendizaje de dos Universidades Privadas de Lima Metropolitana

Abstract

La Tecnología de Información y Comunicación (TIC) es parte de la sociedad moderna y la educación no es exenta de su influencia. Por tal motivo se debe poner énfasis en la investigación de temas que lleven a una mejor comprensión de las TIC en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Para ello es importante comprender las percepciones de los docentes y estudiantes con respecto de esta materia. Para la investigación se estudió los casos de dos universidades, y los participantes fueron docentes de una de ellas, los maestros y alumnos de la otra. Para analizar los datos, se hizo la prueba de Chi-cuadrado y T-Student. Los resultados que se obtuvieron indicaron que los docentes y alumnos tienen buena disposición a aceptar las TIC en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, pero, que este hecho implica generar cambios en el modelo de aprendizaje, la organización, los educadores y estudiantes.

The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is part of the modern society and education is not exempt of its influence. For this reason, emphasis should be placed on research on topics that lead to a better understanding of ICT in the teaching-learning process. For this, it is important to understand the perceptions of teachers and students regarding this subject. For this investigation the cases of two universities were studied. The participants were teachers of one of them, and the teachers and students of the other one. To analyze the data, the Chi-Square and T-Student tests were performed. The obtained results indicated that teachers and students are willing to accept ICT in the teaching-learning process, but this fact implies generating changes in the learning model, the organization, educators and students.
