Resumen
Se planteó el problema: ¿Cuáles son los factores asociados al retiro anticipado del implante anticonceptivo subdérmico en usuarias de planificación familiar, Hospital Víctor Ramos Guardia, Huaraz, 2017-2018? Objetivo General: Determinar los factores asociados al retiro anticipado del implante anticonceptivo subdérmico; hipótesis: Los factores sociodemográficos, gineco- obstétricos y los efectos secundarios están asociados significativamente al retiro anticipado del implante anticonceptivo subdérmico. Investigación retrospectiva, transversal, descriptiva, correlacional, con una muestra de 84 usuarias. Se usó como instrumento una ficha de recolección de datos, la información se procesó y contrastó mediante el programa SPSS V25 y la prueba Chi Cuadrado. Resultados: Factores sociodemográficos: 20-35 años (82.1%), conviviente (72.6%) y secundaria (46.4%). Factores gineco-obstétricos: multíparas (63.1%), no usaron anteriormente un método hormonal (44.0%) y deseo de embarazo (81%). Efectos Adversos que se presentaron con mayor frecuencia fueron: cefalea (65.5%), dolor en sitio de inserción (55.9%), hipermenorrea (50%) y disminución de peso (46.4%). Conclusión: los factores gineco-obstétrico (multiparidad, antecedente de uso de MAC diferente al hormonales) y los efectos secundarios (cefalea, dolor en sitio de inserción, hipermenorrea y disminución de peso) están asociados significativamente al retiro anticipado del implante anticonceptivo subdérmico, el 73.8% se retiró durante el primer año de uso
